Wolverine TV: Can Michigan flip Nebraska LB commit Hayden Moore?

Michigan hosted just one recruit over the weekend in three-star 2023 linebacker Hayden Moore.

The Aurora (Colo.) Regis Jesuit product is committed to Nebraska. However, the Huskers parted ways with head coach Scott Frost in the fall, which has allowed both Michigan and Texas A&M to get back in the mix late in his recruitment.

Moore is expected to make his final decision during the early signing period. He will make an official visit to Texas A&M this weekend.

At 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, Moore is ranked as the No. 113 linebacker and No. 1,249 overall prospect in the country. He is also ranked as the No. 8 overall recruit in the state of Colorado, per the On3 Consensus.

Moore has an On3 NIL Valuation of $6.3K with 1.7K followers across all platforms. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Michigan has 18 commits in its 2023 recruiting class — On300 offensive lineman Nathan Efobi, On300 offensive tackle Evan Link, On300 EDGE Enow Etta, On300 running back Cole Cabana, On300 linebacker Semaj Bridgeman, consensus four-star offensive lineman Amir Herring, four-star tight end Deakon Tonielli, three-star wide receivers Semaj Morgan and Fredrick Moore, three-star defensive lineman Brooks Bahr, three-star running back Benjamin Hall, three-star EDGE Aymeric Koumba, three-star tight end Zack Marshall, three-star athletes Kendrick Bell and Breeon Ishmail, three-star linebacker Jason Hewlett, three-star cornerback Cameron Calhoun and three-star kicker Adam Samaha.

The class is currently ranked No. 22 nationally in the On3 Consensus rankings and No. 3 in the Big Ten behind Penn State and Ohio State.
