Wolverine TV: Can Michigan pull the upset over Ohio State for Top 100 CB Aaron Scott?

The Wolverine’s EJ Holland discussed several Michigan recruiting topics on the Wednesday edition of The Wolverine Live recruiting show, including the recruitment of Top 100 Springfield (Ohio) High cornerback Aaron Scott.

Scott made an official visit to Michigan last month and is now set to announce his commitment on July 30.

Right now, Ohio State has a 95.9 percent lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. However, Michigan has been building up steam over the last couple of months, and Holland still believes this is a tight race between the two rivals.

“I’ve been pretty neutral with the Aaron Scott recruitment,” Holland said. “Obviously, his decision is Sunday, so we’re just days away. He put out the tweet that he was still having a tough time with it and was confused — I think that’s word he used for how he’s feeling right now. I’m a little confused as well (laughs). I think the safe bet is still Ohio State. If I had to put in a prediction today, it would be for the Buckeyes, but Michigan is hanging around.”

At 5-foot-11, 165 pounds, Scott is ranked as the No. 4 cornerback and No. 29 overall prospect nationally, per On3.
