The Wolverine’s EJ Holland discussed several Michigan recruiting topics on the Wednesday edition of The Wolverine Live recruiting show, including a preview of U-M’s second June official visit weekend.

Watch and listen to Holland share the latest on Michigan recruiting below.

Michigan is set to host 13 visitors this weekend and leads for six of those recruits, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Those six are four-star Chicago (Ill.) Kenwood wide receiver I’Marion Stewart, four-star Ijamsville (Md.) Oakdale EDGE Dominic Nichols, four-star Deerfield Beach (Fla.) High EDGE Elias Rudolph, three-star Landisville (Pa.) Hempfield defensive lineman Deyvid Palepale, three-star Princeton (N.J.) Hun School defensive lineman Owen Wafle and three-star Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman running back Micah Ka’apana.

When asked about potential commits going into the weekend, Holland mentioned Palepale as a candidate.

“I just put in an On3 Prediction for (Palepale),” Holland said. “I wouldn’t be surprised if he jumps in the class. He just took an official visit to Penn State last weekend. They sold him hard on staying closer to home. But Palepale is a kid that fits the Michigan culture. He loves the way Michigan develops defensive linemen. He loves the scheme. He thinks he can be a great fit with what Jesse Minter does with the defense. He’s a guy being recruited as a nose but can also play the three-technique. I’ve compared him to Mason Graham. He’s never had a true set decision timeline other than saying it’ll come this summer. But if Michigan really wows him and his family this weekend, then I do think Palepale is a potential commit watch guy.”
