The Wolverine’s EJ Holland discussed several Michigan recruiting topics on the Wednesday edition of The Wolverine Live recruiting show, including the recruitment of Top 100 Burley (Idaho) High wide receiver Gatlin Bair.

Watch and listen to Holland share the latest on U-M recruiting below.

Bair made an official visit to Michigan last month and is now set to announce his commitment in early August.

Right now, Michigan has a 71.9 percent lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. However, both Oregon and Boise State remain very much in play.

“If I had to make a pick today, it would probably be Michigan, there is still a little bit of work to do with the Top 100 wide receiver out of Idaho,” Holland said. “He’s down to Michigan, Oregon and Boise State. He did make an OV to Oregon last month. He also made one to Michigan. He is now taking a multi-day visit to Boise State at the end of the month. I think Michigan is ahead of Oregon and ahead of Boise State for now, but that visit is interesting.”

At 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, Bair is ranked as the No. 11 wide receiver and No. 39 overall prospect nationally, per the On3 Industry Rankings.

Michigan has 25 commits in its 2024 recruiting class. Of the names in the group are Top 100 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day quarterback Jadyn Davis, Top 100 Rochester (Mich.)
