Archie Recruitment

Archie notched an offer from Michigan in February of last year and is planning to make his first visit before the start of the next dead period.

Michigan tight ends coach and area recruiter Grant Newsome is leading the way in his recruitment and making a strong impression early on.

Here is what Holland had to say about his recruitment.

“He’s a guy that hasn’t made a lot of visits,” Holland said. “He just hasn’t been to places. Archie is taking a laid back approach with his recruitment. On top of that, he wasn’t able to go anywhere this fall because all of his games were on Saturdays. He is going to take a deep dive into his recruitment this spring, and we’ll really sort out the contenders there. But Michigan has a true chance with Archie.”

Archie is a high school teammate of three-star 2024 Michigan defensive line signee Owen Wafle, who is already recruiting him to U-M.

Along with Michigan, Archie holds offers from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Kentucky, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee and others.

Rutgers currently has the lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 50.7 percent chance of landing him.
