Edmond Recruitment

Edmond flipped his commitment from Purdue to Michigan in early August and has been completely locked in with the Wolverines ever since.

Of the five Michigan commits mentioned in the video, Edmond made the biggest jump, moving up more than 300 spots.

Here is what Holland had to say about Edmond’s meteoric rise:

“It was quite the jump for Jo’Ziah Edmond,” Holland said. “He’s a guy I’ve been high on since he committed. This is a kid that flew under everybody’s radars, including Michigan. In fact, he randomly showed up to a Michigan camp in June and blew the staff with his testing as well his performance in 1-on-1’s and drills. They kept him on the radar. When they missed out on their top targets, Bryce West and Aaron Scott, they made the move with Edmond, and he immediately jumped in the class. And now, he’s proving to be one of the better cornerbacks in the 2024 class. He’s had a fantastic senior year.”

At 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, Edmond is ranked as the No. 11 athlete and No. 293 overall prospect nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking.
