Wolverine TV: Game clips of On300 Michigan OL commit Evan Link
The Wolverine’s EJ Holland was in Washington D.C. over the weekend to see On300 2023 Michigan offensive line commit Evan Link in his season opener.
Link had a strong game as both a pass and run blocker, had a handful of head-to-head battles with five-star athlete Nyckoles Harbor and led his Gonzaga team to a 37-14 win over Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll on Friday night.
Here are full clips from the contest.
Link committed to Michigan over finalists Penn State and Stanford on Aug. 1. Michigan was considered the third team in his recruitment. However, the Wolverines were able to get him on campus for a two-day unofficial visit in late July and pulled the surprise.
Michigan had a big need at tackle this cycle, so landing Link when it looked like the Wolverines were pretty much out of it was massive. In Link, the Wolverines are getting a true tackle with a ton of upside.

“When we were going through the offensive linemen, I was impressed with his junior video,” said On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings, Charles Power. “I thought he moved really well. Obviously, he’s pretty technical and well-coached, and he’s doing this against top competition, too. I think he has a lot of positional versatility as well.”
At 6-foot-5, 290 pounds, Link is ranked as the No. 11 offensive tackle and No. 125 overall prospect nationally, per On3.
