On300 Michigan offensive tackle commit Andrew Sprague recorded multiple pancake blocks in Friday’s game as Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst won 14-10 over Blue Springs (Mo.) High.

The Wolverine’s Zach Libby was onsite and captured exclusive clips from the contest. Watch highlights of Sprague in the video above.

Sprague Recruitment

Sprague committed to Michigan and offensive line coach Sherrone Moore this past April after his unofficial visit for the spring game. He chose the Wolverines over notable offers from Notre Dame, Missouri, LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, USC, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Colorado.

“It got to a point where I was comparing everything to Michigan,” Sprague told The Wolverine after his pledge. “At the end of the day, I knew it was going to be Michigan. It just felt like home. Going back up there for the spring game with some of the guys made it that much better. I decided to pull the trigger, and now, I can help recruit other guys. Obviously, they have the best offensive line. Back-to-back Joe Moore Awards, you can’t really go wrong with that.”

Sprague is listed as the No. 122 overall prospect and No. 8 offensive tackle in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four primary recruiting media services. He’s also the No. 5 player in Missouri.

Along with Sprague, Michigan’s 2024 recruiting class is highlighted by Top 100 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day quarterback Jadyn Davis, Top 100 Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller running back Jordan Marshall, Top 100 Rochester (Mich.) Adams tight end Brady Prieskorn, On300 Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic linebacker Cole Sullivan, On300 Brandywine (Md.) Gwynn Park EDGE Devon Baxter, Harper Woods (Mich.) High defensive back Jacob Oden, On300 Bellevue (Wash.) High tight end Hogan Hansen, On300 Austin (Tex.) Vandegrift offensive tackle Blake Frazier, On300 West Charlotte (N.C.) High linebacker Jaden Smith and On300 Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth linebacker Mason Curtis.

Sprague has an On3 NIL Valuation of 105K with a combined 5.5K followers on Instagram and X. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
