Taylor recruitment
Taylor notched an offer from Michigan in late March and made two unofficial visits to Ann Arbor this offseason, including for the BBQ at The Big House in the summer.
Michigan wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy is leading the way in this recruitment and making Taylor a top overall priority. The two are in contact on a weekly basis.
“I like Coach Bellamy,” Taylor said. “We have a good relationship. We’ve been constantly talking. He’s talked to me about my process getting started. He told me to stay humble and levelheaded.”
Along with Michigan, Taylor holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Michigan State, Nebraska, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, Wisconsin and a number of other major programs.
At 6-foot-1, 165 pounds, Taylor is ranked as the No. 12 wide receiver and No. 71 overall prospect nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also ranked as the No. 3 overall recruit in the state of Illinois for next cycle.
