Michigan press conference notes

The following are among the topics that were discussed at Schembechler Hall Tuesday night:

• Michigan’s new turnover buffs. The Detroit style sunglasses are what the Wolverines have been donning during their post-turnover picture, and we saw it come out twice last week after DJ Turner and R.J. Moten’s interceptions, respectively. The defensive backs say the player with the most turnovers at the end of the season will be able to wear them.

• Colston Loveland’s decision to choose Michigan. He was relatively unknown and under the radar for a while during his recruitment, but Jay Harbaugh was on him. Michigan felt like home when he went on his visit, and the rest was history. He came in believing he’d play right away, and that’s exactly what has happened. With senior tight end Erick All being sideline for who knows how long, Loveland’s role will only grow.
