QB Recruiting
Michigan landed a commitment from Top 100 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day quarterback Jadyn Davis this cycle, but the Wolverines are still looking to land another high-end talent in the 2025 recruiting class.
The Wolverines are all in on five-star Belleville (Mich.) High quarterback Bryce Underwood, who has made multiple visits over the past couple of years. However, Michigan does have other options like Top 100 Brentwood (Tenn.) Academy prospect George MacIntyre and four-star Findlay (Ohio) High prospect Ryan Montgomery.
Here is what Holland had to say about the future of Michigan quarterback recruiting:
“Michigan landed Jadyn Davis this cycle,” Holland said. “He’s a high-level game manager that can come in and potentially play early. But you look at the state of the quarterback room, and I say Jadyn Davis may play early because if JJ McCarthy bolts, there isn’t a lot to work with in the quarterback room. Michigan needs to land another highly touted signal in 2025. Obviously, at the top of the wish list is five-star Bryce Underwood, the No. 1 overall recruit in the country for next cycle. Underwood is as talented as you can get at the quarterback position.”
At 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, Underwood is ranked as the No. 1 quarterback and No. 1 overall recruit in the 2025 recruiting class. He is also the No. 1 overall prospect in the state of Michigan for next cycle.

Michigan has two verbal commitments in its 2025 recruiting class in Top 100 Miami (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna defensive back Chris Ewald and four-star Howell (Mich.) High defensive lineman Bobby Kanka. The class is ranked No. 17 nationally, per the On3 Industry team recruiting rankings.
