Blair Recruitment
Blair notched an offer from Michigan in December and has quickly become one of the most important overall targets for the Wolverines this cycle.
Michigan hosted him for a spring unofficial visit and made a huge impression on him.
“The Michigan visit was great overall,” Blair said. “They gave me a rundown of how they do things around there. Everything went extremely well. I talked to the weight room coach, and he told me why their athletes are superior to others. I also talked to the nutritionist about how they test for things. My parents and I loved all of that. From a football aspect, they are going to get it done. It’s Michigan. We talked to the coaches, and everything felt right. Also, the education is great. It’s great all around at Michigan.”
Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore is personally involved in Blair’s recruitment and made a big push during their 1-on-1 meeting on the visit.
“He was very welcoming,” Blair said. “When I first came in, he was like ‘wow’ because a lot of people don’t think I’m 6-foot-4. But meeting with him was great. We had a great conversation about how he sees me becoming a Michigan Man and making plays on the field. He made it known how much he personally wants me in their program. I thought that was big.”
