Wolverine TV: Training clips of Top 100 Michigan RB target Savion Hiter
The Wolverine’s EJ Holland was recently in Charlottesville seeing Top 100 2026 Michigan running back target Savion Hiter at his private workout.
Watch highlights in the video above.
Hiter Recruitment
Michigan extended an offer to Hiter this offseason, shortly following the arrival of new running backs coach Tony Alford.
Hiter and Alford have a strong bond and are connecting well on a personal level. Alford recruited Hiter dating back to his time at Ohio State.
Hiter made his first visit to Michigan in the spring and returned to Ann Arbor for the BBQ at The Big House late last month.
Here is what Holland had to say about his recruitment.
“This is a guy that has a great relationship with new running backs coach Tony Alford, who has made him a top priority” Holland said. “Alford recruited him as an underclassman at Ohio State, so there is already a connection there. Hiter visited Michigan in the offseason and returned for the BBQ at The Big House. Getting him back on campus was massive. There is a lot to like about Savion Hiter. He’s a home run hitter. He is a guy that can run tough between the tackles, but he’s more of a true all-purpose back that can play all three downs. He can line up as a receiver. He can catch passes out of the back field. He’s actually really good in pass protection.”
Hiter has no set decision timeline and plans to take a measured approach to the recruiting process. However, he does plan to release a top group soon.
