Wolverine TV: Workout clips of 2024 Michigan IOL commit Luke Hamilton
On Tuesday, The Wolverine traveled to an indoor training facility in Avon, Ohio, a western suburb of Cleveland, to see 2024 Michigan interior offensive lineman commit Luke Hamilton for the first time since his announced pledge that took place less than 24 hours after the Ohio State win last season.
Hamilton is staying busy this offseason as he divides time this winter and spring between regular workouts with his high school football teammates at Avon High and the track season, where he competes in the shot put and discus.
The football workout that was attended only lasted about an hour but the time was utilized through heavy concentration on conditioning. Groups were divided by age and position with Hamilton, of course, completing the session with his fellow lineman. Area of focus were speed and agility, as well as balance and flexibility.
The trip also entailed diving into the recruiting efforts of Hamilton to help bring in more top prospects from the state of Ohio.
Fans should be thrilled for Hamilton’s enrollment next year after watching the 90-second video. The rising junior’s massive frame doesn’t interfere with his mobility or athleticism, which will only be developed further under the guidance of Michigan strength and conditioning coach Ben Herbert.
