Mississippi State center Carson Lee to enter transfer portal

After arriving at Mississippi State in January, senior offensive lineman Carson Lee is on the move again. The Colorado native worked at center in spring practices for the Bulldogs and on Friday, he opted to enter the transfer portal again.
Lee began his college career at Colorado before playing the past two seasons at Eastern Michigan. Last season (2024), Lee started in 10 games for Eastern Michigan with starting calls coming at both center and right guard. In 2023, his first season at Eastern Michigan, Lee started six games and all of those starts were at center.

With his decision, Lee becomes the third Mississippi State offensive lineman to transfer in the spring portal window. He joins sophomore Malik Ellis and senior Jesse Ramil. Like Lee, Ramil also just arrived in January and went through one spring with the Bulldogs before entering the portal again.
On the other side of the transfer portal this spring, Mississippi State has added two transfers and both happened this week. Former Purdue offensive lineman Jaekwon Bouldin and former Virginia offensive lineman Blake Steen committed to Mississippi State.
