Redshirt freshman OL Jacorey Whitted to transfer from Mississippi State University

As the spring transfer portal opened for business on Wednesday, Mississippi State has already had a scholarship player put his name on the list.
Redshirt freshman offensive lineman JaCorey Whitted plans to make a move after just one year on campus. The 6’6, 280-pounder came to State as a tight end last year but grew into a lineman after one year. He didn’t play in a game during his time in Starkville
A McAdory (Ala.) High School standout, Whitted picked up early offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Florida, Tennessee, Auburn and many others. He would commit to the Bulldogs in September of 2023.
