SEC provides more kickoff times for Mississippi State's 2024 slate
Mississippi State’s 2024 football schedule received more clarity with game times on Tuesday as the SEC announced additional kickoff times and television windows.
Per the SEC announcement, Mississippi State will host Florida on September 21st for an 11 a.m. kickoff and the game will be televised either by EPSN or ABC. Also on Tuesday, the Bulldogs’ homecoming game against UMass on November 2nd was given a 3:15 p.m. kickoff time and it will be televised by the SEC Network.
Regarding the television windows announced for Mississippi State, the Bulldogs’ home game against Arkansas on October 26th will be an early game (11 a.m. or noon). Mississippi State will also have afternoon games (between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.) against Texas on the road on September 28th and also in a home game versus Missouri on November 23rd.
In other television-window announcement, Mississippi State’s road game at Tennessee on November 9th will be a night game with two flex games (start times between 2:30 p.m.-7 p.m.), which includes a road game at Georgia on October 12th and a home game against Texas A&M on October 19th. Those television window games will have exact game times determined during the season.

Before Tuesday’s announcement, Mississippi State already had kickoff times established with four games on the 2024 schedule. That includes the season opener against Eastern Kentucky on August 31st (5 p.m.), at Arizona State on September 7th (9:30 p.m.), home game against Toledo on September 14th (6:30 p.m.) and the Egg Bowl at Ole Miss on November 29th (2:30 p.m.).
Mississippi State finished 5-7 a year ago under former head coach Zach Arnett, who was dismissed before the final two games of the season. In late November Mississippi State hired first-time head coach Jeff Lebby, who will make his Bulldog coaching debut on August 31st against Eastern Kentucky at Davis Wade Stadium.
