The 2025-26 non-conference portion of Mississippi State’s schedule got a little clearer on Tuesday morning. The Bulldogs announced three more home games at Humphrey Coliseum in November and December.

Mississippi State will host Southeastern Louisiana on Nov. 15th and the Lions finished 18-14 this past season. The Bulldogs defeated Southeastern Louisiana, 80-59, last season.

Mississippi State will also host New Orleans on Nov. 24 and the Privateers posted a 4-27 mark this past season. Also announced on Tuesday, the Bulldogs will host Long Island on Dec. 16th and tipoff times for all three games will be announced later. Long Island finished 17-16 last season and posted a second-place finish in the Northeast Conference.

Mississippi State leads the all-time series with Iowa State, 3-0, and that includes a 1-0 record in previous neutral-court meetings. The last time the two schools faced each other was in 2021 as Mississippi State claimed a 95-56 win over Iowa State in Starkville as part of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.

Earlier this month, the Bulldogs also officially announced a neutral-court site meeting with Iowa State, who reached the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament this past season. Mississippi State and Iowa State are slated to meet on Nov. 10th at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D., with tipoff times and TV network assignment to be announced later.

Also announced recently, Mississippi State will play in the 2025 Hall of Fame Classic on November 20-21 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo. Other teams in the event include Kansas State, Nebraska and New Mexico. The tournament matchups, games times and TV broadcast information will be released at a later date.

Other non-conference outings for the 2025-26 season include a home game against SMU on Nov. 28th along with a matchup with Utah at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Bulldogs will also compete in the SEC/ACC Challenge on Dec. 2nd or Dec. 3rd, and that is expected to be a road game, as well.

Mississippi State finished 21-13 this past season, including an 8-10 mark inside the SEC. The Bulldogs advanced to the program’s third straight NCAA Tournament under head coach Chris Jans and dropped a 75-72 decision to Baylor in the first round. During last season, the Bulldogs posted a 13-3 non-conference record, which included a 6-0 record at home, 2-0 mark on the road and a 5-3 record in neutral site non-conference games.

With at least 21 victories in the past three seasons, Jans is one of four head coaches in SEC history to total at least 21 victories and advance to the NCAA Tournament in each of his first three campaigns.
