East Mississippi DL Ashun Shepphard had four tackles (three solos) and 0.5 tackle for loss; season stats: 27 tackles (15 solos), six tackles for loss, three sacks and one quarterback hurry.
Houston (Tenn.) High School 30, Germantown (Tenn.) High School (12-1) 10 in third round of the Class 6A playoffs – Germantown OL Kison Shepard.

Laurel High School 31, Brookhaven High School (8-5) 28 in second round of Class 5A playoffs – Brookhaven RB/DB Xavier Gayten had 22 rushes for 184 yards and two touchdowns; season stats: 218 carries for 2,042 yards and 25 touchdowns, nine catches for 38 yards and 1 of 1 passing for 27 yards and one touchdown. Also six kickoff returns for 308 yards and two touchdowns.
West Point High School 34, Holmes County Central High School (11-1) 14 in second round of Class 5A playoffs – Holmes County Central DL Terrance Hibbler had 10 tackles (four solos) and two tackles for loss; season stats: 96 tackles (57 solos), 30 tackles for loss, 23 sacks, two forced fumbles and nine quarterback hurries.
Winona High School (12-0) 49, East Webster High School 26 in third round of Class 3A playoffs – Winona OL TJ Lockhart. Winona LB Fred Clark had 13 tackles (five solos) and one tackle for loss; season stats: 63 tackles (28 solos), 11 tackles for loss, three sacks, one fumble caused, two interceptions and one fumble recovery.
Headland (Ala.) High School (10-2) 35, UMS-Wright (Ala.) Prep 21 in second round of Class 5A playoffs – Headland LB Caleb Dozier had eight tackles (four solos). On offense had six catches for 123 yards and two touchdowns; season stats: 122 tackles (61 solos), 11 sacks, 29 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, one PBU and four fumble recoveries (two returned for touchdowns). North Panola High School (6-6) 20 advanced to second round of Class 3A playoffs – North Panola WR JJ Harrell; season stats: 18 of 21 passing for 578 yards and nine touchdowns, 42 rushes for 577 yards and nine touchdowns, 31 catches for 521 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Baker (Ala.) High School (8-3) advanced to first round of Class 7A playoffs – Baker QB Josh Flowers; season stats: 134 of 198 passing for 2,126 yards with 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions, 159 rushes for 1,435 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Vicksburg High School (7-4) advanced to first round of Class 5A playoffs – Vicksburg DE Tyler Carter; season stats: 72 tackles (43 solos), 11 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery returned for a touchdown, one quarterback hurry and four PBUs.

Noxubee County High School (9-4) 29, Jefferson Davis County High School 22 in third round of the Class 3A playoffs – Noxubee County quarterback Kamario Taylor was 14 of 25 passing for 262 yards and four touchdowns, four carries for 43 yards; season stats: 179 of 296 passing for 3,137 yards with 40 touchdowns and five interceptions, 76 carries for 749 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Madison (Ala.) Academy (12-0) 21, Mars Hill Bible (Ala.) School 14 in second round of Class 3A playoffs – Madison Academy linebacker AJ Rice had 12 tackles (seven solos), two tackles for loss and one sack; season stats: 90 tackles (54 solos), 17.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries returned for touchdowns.
