Postseason

Airline (La.) High School 42, Westgate (La.) High School (8-3) 16 in second round of Class 4A playoffs – Westgate WR Davian Jackson; season stats: 43 rushes for 403 yards and two touchdown, 17 catches for 301 yards and five touchdowns.

Madison Central High School (10-2) 45, Germantown High School 14 in second round of Class 7A playoffs – Madison Central OL Josiah Clemons.

Noxubee County High School (10-2) 45, Seminary High School 15 in third round of Class 3A playoffs – Noxubee County QB Kamario Taylor; season stats: 124 of 221 for 2,066 yards with 30 touchdowns and four interceptions, 97 rushes for 1,000 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Velma Jackson High School (11-1) 60, Taylorsville High School 18 in third round of Class 1A playoffs – Velma Jackson LB/RB Tyshun Willis; season stats: 60 tackles (45 solos), 40 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, four fumble recoveries (three returned for a touchdowns), two forced fumbles, one PBU and three quarterback hurries. Also returned a blocked punt for a touchdown. On offense, 44 rushes for 708 yards and eight touchdowns, 18 catches for 308 yards and five touchdowns. Also eight punt returns for 446 yards.

Ocean Springs High School 27, Oak Grove High School (8-4) 14 in second round of Class 7A playoffs – Oak Grove receiver Anson Lewis; season stats: 39 catches for 507 yards and nine touchdowns, 1 of 1 passing for four yards and one touchdown.

Buchholz (Fla.) High School 34, Pace (Fla.) High School (10-2) 24 in second round of Class 6A playoffs – Pace TE Joeseph Skipworth; season stats: 22 catches for 416 yards and five touchdowns.

2026 Mississippi State commitments

Postseason

Tupelo High School (12-0) 35, Starkville High School 34 in second round of Class 7A playoffs – Tupelo RB Jaeden Hill had 29 carries for 216 yards and three touchdowns, three catches for 33 yards; season stats: 179 carries for 1,764 yards and 29 touchdowns, 15 catches for 217 yards and two touchdowns. Also one kickoff return for 82 yards and a touchdown. Tupelo DB Iverson McCoy had seven tackles (five solos) and one kickoff return for 22 yards; season stats: 40 tackles (30 solos), seven PBUs, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and two interceptions. Also five punt returns for 197 yards and one touchdown, five kickoff returns for 121 yards.

Winnsboro (Texas) High School (9-1) 48, Palmer (Texas) High School 7 in second round of Class 3A playoffs – Winnsboro WR Camden Capehart; season stats: 47 catches for 1,202 yards and 22 touchdowns.
