Darius Slay fourth Bulldog to earn Pro Bowl selection
Add another Bulldog to the Pro Bowl list.
Mississippi State cornerback great Darius Slay came off of the reserve list for to Pro Bowl on Tuesday and was added to the main roster as he and Philadelphia Eagles teammate Jalen Hurts replaced Brock Purdy and Charvarius Ward from the San Francisco 49ers. It’s Slay’s sixth Pro Bowl selection during his illustrious career in the NFL.
Slay is the fourth Bulldog to make the postseason game this year and joins Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and defensive linemen Montez Sweat from the Chicago Bears and Chris Jones from the Kansas City Chiefs. Jones will not be able to play, however, as he will also be playing in the Super Bowl against Purdy and Ward. Prescott decided to skip out on the Pro Bowl this week and was replaced on the roster as well.
