The transfer portal window opened officially on December 4th and officially closed on January 2nd. As expected, there was a lot of movement with Mississippi State players entering the transfer portal.

The Bulldogs recently made a coaching change with the dismissal of Zach Arnett and the arrival of new head coach Jeff Lebby. Thus far, most of the Bulldog players entering the transfer portal have been on the offensive side of the ball. Of course, some of these players could end up staying in Starkville and removing their name from the transfer portal.

Now that the transfer portal window has closed for Mississippi State, any other players exiting the program will have to wait until the spring transfer portal window opens, which runs from April 1-15. On the flip side, players still have time to transfer and enroll at Mississippi State and that opportunity will come to a close at the end of January.

Bulldogs on the offensive side of the ball that have entered the transfer portal include receiver Zavion Thomas, offensive lineman Percy Lewis, running back Jo’quavious Marks, senior offensive lineman Steven Losoya, senior tight end Ryland Goede, senior quarterback Will Rogers, junior receiver Jacoby Bellazar, freshman receiver Nakai Poole and sophomore running back Simeon Price.
