The spring transfer portal window closes on Tuesday evening and as expected, Mississippi State continues to see more movement this week. On Monday On3 reported that redshirt freshman defensive end Wilky Denaud has entered the transfer portal after arriving to Mississippi State in January.

Denaud, a Fort Pierce, Fla., native, committed and signed with Mississippi State this past December after transferring from Auburn. Denaud redshirted at Auburn as a true freshman in the 2023 season and did not see any game action last season.

This spring at Mississippi State, the 6-foot-4 and 270-pound Denaud was not in the two-deep depth chart at defensive end.

Also on Monday, Mississippi State offensive lineman Jimmy Bell enter the transfer portal, as well. Bell played one season with Mississippi State’s basketball team before joining the Bulldogs’ football program this spring. Bell has one season of football eligibility remaining after using up all of his eligibility in basketball.

While the spring transfer portal windown closes on Tuesday, players can still enter the transfer portal as long as their paperwork process has begun before Tuesday evening’s deadline.
