Mississippi State vs. LSU SEC Tournament Basketball: How to Watch and Listen, Odds, Injury Report

It’s tournament time and Mississippi State is looking to catch some fire here in the next couple of weeks of basketball action.

After losing four of the last five games, the Bulldogs have fallen out of the top 25 and dropped in the NCAA Tournament projections. While locked into the Big Dance, State could use some good play in Nashville at the SEC Tournament to prepare for what’s coming.

On Wednesday night, State will start its journey by taking on the LSU Tigers inside Bridgestone Arena.

Who: LSU (14-17, 3-15 SEC) vs. Mississippi State (20-11, 8-10 SEC)

When: Wednesday, March 12, 6:00 p.m. CT

Where: Bridgestone Arena, Nashville, Tenn.

According to the Action Network, Mississippi State comes into Wednesday’s game as a healthy favorite at -8.5. The over/under is set at 147.5 with a Moneyline of MSU -440, LSU +340.

State is 15-16 against the spread this season. LSU is 13-17-1.

Injury Report:

State has a clean bill of health outside of Kanye Clary’s season-ending injury. LSU has three out for the game with Vyctorious Miller, Jalen Reed and Corey Chest OUT for the game and Noah Boyde considered a game time decision.  

The freshman Miller has been out for the last couple of games and last played 6 minutes against State back on March 1. He averages 8.9 points per game this season. Chest hasn’t played since February 25 and averages 6.1 points.
