How to watch and listen: Mississippi State vs. Texas
Mississippi State (1-3, 0-1 in SEC) takes to the road Saturday for the first time in SEC play this season and the Bulldogs face a major challenge at top-ranked Texas (4-0).
The Bulldogs have dropped three straight games – Arizona State, Toledo and Florida – while the Longhorns were rarely challenged in their four non-conference games. To add insult to injury against Florida last weekend, Mississippi State quarterback Blake Shapen suffered a season-ending shoulder injury while starting running back Keyvone Lee also suffered an injury.
Mississippi State and Texas have split the previous four meetings in the series. The Bulldogs and Longhorns have played twice before in Austin, Texas, with each team owning a win. The last meeting of the series was a 38-11 Texas victory in the 1999 Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas.
Saturday also marks the first-ever SEC contest for Texas.
For those that can’t make the 3:15 p.m. (ct) kickoff at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas, here’s how you can watch and listen:
