How to watch and listen: Mississippi State vs. Texas A&M
After playing back-to-back Top 5 teams on the road, Mississippi State returns home to Davis Wade Stadium Saturday to welcome another highly-ranked team in No. 14 Texas A&M.
Mississippi State enters Saturday’s contest with a 1-5 record and an 0-3 mark inside the SEC. The Bulldogs dropped a 41-31 decision at No. 4 Georgia last Saturday despite a career-best 306 passing yards by true freshman quarterback Michael Van Buren, which earned Van Buren SEC Freshman of the Week honors.
Since dropping its season opener to Notre Dame, Texas A&M has reeled off five straight wins and own a 5-1 overall record, including a 3-0 mark in the SEC. The Aggies are coming off an open date and in their last outing, they drilled then No. 9 Missouri, 41-10, at home.
Mississippi State leads the all-time series with the Aggies, 8-7, and the Bulldogs have won four of the six meetings against Texas A&M in Starkville. Texas A&M won last year’s matchup, 51-10, in College Station.
