During his Mississippi State official visit in June, 2025 safety and On3 three-star prospect opted to join the Bulldogs’ class. His commitment was not a huge surprise seeing how the Greene County (Ga.) High School standout was a State lean for most of the spring.

Last month Miller returned to Starkville to get another look at his future home and felt comfortable at Bulldog Bash. Miller is rated as the nation’s No. 44 safety and the state’s No. 74 prospect by On3 rankings, and he chose State over several other Power 4 offers.

“I was back there on July 25th,” Miller said. “It was good to visit home again and we had a good time. We were at Coach (Jeff) Lebby’s crib and I got to know some more of my family there.”

These days, Miller is prepping for his final high school campaign at Greene County High School. Once again, Miller will have a lot on his plate with duties on both sides of the ball.

“This season I will be all over the place,” explained the 6-foot-1.5 and 180-pound Miller. “I’ll be playing a little quarterback but my main positions this year will be wide receiver and safety. The biggest thing I worked on this summer was my ball skills because that will be a key factor at the next level. So I have to maintain that and I’m working on my man coverage. My zone coverage is good but I’m working on my man coverage.”

And with his future coaches, Miller said nothing has changed since he committed to State. While rated as a safety, Miller said the Bulldog coaches have mainly talked to him about playing cornerback.

“The coaches are glad I made it happen and they’ve been showing me love,” remarked Miller. “So they’ve been checking on me every day and we’ve talked about me playing cornerback there. I feel like I can play anywhere on the field.

“When I get there, Coach (Corey) Bell said I have to do what’s best for the team. So I want to be the best corner I can be. I know when I get there Coach (Corey) Bell will help me get there and I still have a lot to learn.”

And Miller plans to get a head start on that learning curve. He noted that he plans to graduate high school in December, which will allow him to enroll at Mississippi State in January and hit the ground running.

“That’s big for me,” Miller mentioned. “Getting away from my hometown quick as possible is great because there’s a lot of trouble around here. I get to go in and learn the system quicker than others. That’s a good thing and it will help me get everything down pat. That’s a good way for me to play early.”

Regarding his recruiting process, Miller acknowledged that things have slowed down a good bit since he made his decision. And not having to wonder about his college future is a welcomed relief.

“Since I committed it’s been kind of quiet,” noted Miller. “I’m glad it’s quiet because being committed, I feel like I’m locked in with Mississippi State. I just tell other schools I’m locked in.”
