Texas Tech transfer offensive guard Jacoby Jackson commits to Mississippi State
Mississippi State’s offensive line recruiting in the transfer portal has been solid this offseason. On Tuesday, that group got even better with the addition of Texas Tech transfer Jacoby Jackson, who has two years of remaining eligibility.
Back in December, head coach Jeff Lebby hired former Arkansas offensive line coach Cody Kennedy to direct State’s offensive line. And Kennedy has produced well in his first offseason with the Bulldogs.
Jackson appeared in 27 games for the Red Raiders, including 14 career starts in the Big 12. The Texas native started the last eight games of the 2023 campaign at right guard, as well. This past season Jackson had a 78.6 pass-blocking grade by PFF (Pro Football Focus).
Jackson officially visited Mississippi State last week and the former Mansfield (Texas) Summit School product also officially visited Texas A&M and Baylor this past weekend.
