State lands transfer from North Carolina guard Trayanna Crisp

Sam Purcell’s roster rebuild has begun at Mississippi State and the Bulldogs have their second commitment from the transfer portal.
Sources indicated that North Carolina senior guard Trayanna Crisp will transfer to State. The Arizona native played two seasons at Arizona State before spending last season in Chapel Hill.

Crisp averaged 13.9 minutes and 5.6 points per game as a junior while shooting 38% from the field and making 26% of her three-pointers with 21-of-82 made shots. Crisp shot 80% from the foul stripe. The junior also averaged 1.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
The biggest performance of the season for Crisp came against Louisville when she scored 19 points in 24 minutes against the Cardinals. She also scored 12 points off the bench against Syracuse the game before.
