WEEK 11 Mississippi State 2024 Commitments

East Mississippi Community College (7-2) 52, Mississippi Delta Community College 6 – East Mississippi DB Tyler Woodard had four tackles (four solos); season stats: 32 tackles (21 solos), four PBUs and 2.5 tackles for loss. East Mississippi DL Ashun Shepphard had four tackles (three solos), 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and one quarterback hurry; season stats: 21 tackles (11 solos), 5.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and one quarterback hurry.

Copiah-Lincoln Community College 13, Hinds Community College (3-5) 0 – Hinds linebacker Branden Jennings had six tackles (six solos); season stats: 58 tackles (42 solos), 5.5 tackles, two sacks and one fumble recovery.

Lausanne (Tenn.) Collegiate (9-1) 41, Battle Ground (Tenn.) Academy 13 in first round of Division 2-AA playoffs – Lausanne OL/DL Luke Work had five tackles (one solo), one sack and one tackle for loss; season stats: 20 tackles (14 solos), two sacks, two tackles for loss and one forced fumble. Also 1 of 1 passing for 51 yards and one touchdown.

Germantown (Tenn.) High School (11-0) 47, West Creek (Tenn.) High School 0 in first round of the Class 6A playoffs – Germantown OL Kison Shepard.

North Panola High School (6-5) 45, Nettleton High School 21 in first round of Class 3A playoffs – North Panola WR JJ Harrell had 145 yards rushing and two touchdowns, 105 yards passing with three touchdowns; season stats: 18 of 21 passing for 578 yards and nine touchdowns, 42 rushes for 577 yards and nine touchdowns, 31 catches for 521 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Brookhaven High School (6-4) 29, Natchez High School 14 – Brookhaven RB/DB Xavier Gayten had 20 carries for 131 yards and two touchdowns; season stats: 180 carries for 1,608 yards and 19 touchdowns, nine catches for 38 yards and 1 of 1 passing for 27 yards and one touchdown. Also six kickoff returns for 308 yards and two touchdowns.

Holmes County Central High School (10-0) 39, Canton High School 14 – Holmes County Central DL Terrance Hibbler had 11 tackles (six solos), two sacks and two tackles for loss; season stats: 79 tackles (49 solos), 26 tackles for loss, 21 sacks, two forced fumbles and nine quarterback hurries.

Baker (Ala.) High School (8-2) 37, Mountain Brook (Ala.) High School 28 – Baker QB Josh Flowers was 13 of 19 passing for 187 yards with one touchdown, 25 carries for 238 yards and two touchdowns; season stats: 124 of 182 passing for 1,952 yards with 18 touchdowns and six interceptions, 150 rushes for 1,310 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Winona High School (11-0) 62, Mantachie High School 7 in first round of Class 3A playoffs – Winona OL TJ Lockhart. Winona LB Fred Clark had three tackles (one solo) and one interception; season stats: 48 tackles (23 solos), 10 tackles for loss, three sacks, one fumble caused, two interceptions and one fumble recovery.

Vicksburg High School (7-3) 20, Ridgeland High School 7 – Vicksburg DE Tyler Carter had eight tackles (four solos) and one fumble recovery returned 43 yards for a touchdown; season stats: 64 tackles (39 solos), 10 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery returned for a touchdown, one quarterback hurry and three PBUs.

Headland (Ala.) High School (8-2) 42 Cottonwood (Ala.) High School 26 – Headland LB Caleb Dozier had five catches for 105 yards and three carries for 60 yards and one touchdown. On defense had 15 tackles (six solos), three tackles for loss and one sack; season stats: 94 tackles (45 solos), nine sacks, 27 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, one PBU and three fumble recoveries (one returned for a touchdown). On offense, 36 catches for 619 yards and seven touchdowns, 13 carries for 135 yards and two touchdowns.

McAdory (Ala.) High School (6-4) 35, Calera (Ala.) High School 31 – McAdory tight end JaCorey Whitted had three catches for 138 yards and two touchdowns; season stats: 33 catches for 715 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Mississippi State 2025 Commitments

Noxubee County High School (7-4) 35, South Pike High School 6 in first round of the Class 3A playoffs – Noxubee County quarterback Kamario Taylor was 16 of 22 passing for 250 yards with four touchdowns, three rushes for 21 yards and one touchdown; season stats: 153 of 249 passing for 2,661 yards with 34 touchdowns and five interceptions, 59 carries for 539 yards and eight touchdowns.

Madison (Ala.) Academy (10-0) 47, Westminster (Ala.) Christian 7 – Madison Academy linebacker AJ Rice (stats to be updated later); season stats: 71 tackles (42 solos), 13.5 tackles for loss, one sack, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries returned for touchdowns.
