WEEK 11 Mississippi State 2024 Commitments

Mississippi Delta Community College at East Mississippi Community College (6-2) on Thursday – East Mississippi DB Tyler Woodard; season stats: 28 tackles (17 solos), four PBUs and 2.5 tackles for loss. East Mississippi DL Ashun Shepphard; season stats: 17 tackles (eight solos), three tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.

Copiah-Lincoln Community College at Hinds Community College (3-5) on Thursday – Hinds linebacker Branden Jennings; season stats: 52 tackles (36 solos), 5.5 tackles, two sacks and one fumble recovery.

Battle Ground (Tenn.) Academy at Lausanne (Tenn.) Collegiate (8-1) in first round of Division 2-AA playoffs – Lausanne OL/DL Luke Work; season stats: 15 tackles (13 solos), one sack, one tackle for loss and one forced fumble. Also 1 of 1 passing for 51 yards and one touchdown.

West Creek (Tenn.) High School at Germantown (Tenn.) High School (10-0) in first round of the Class 6A playoffs – Germantown OL Kison Shepard.

St. Thomas (Conn.) More at IMG (Fla.) Academy (7-0) – IMG Academy OL Jimothy Lewis.

Nettleton High School at North Panola High School (5-5) in first round of Class 3A playoffs – North Panola WR JJ Harrell; season stats: 18 of 36 passing for 473 yards and six touchdowns, 42 rushes for 432 yards and nine touchdowns, 31 catches for 521 yards and three touchdowns.

Starkville High School (7-2) at Tupelo High School – Starkville WR/DB Braylon Burnside; season stats: 47 catches for 774 yards and 11 touchdowns, six rushes for 29 yards and two touchdowns. On defense has 12 tackles (seven solos), one forced fumble and two tackles for loss. Also three punt returns for 46 yards.

Natchez High School at Brookhaven High School (5-4) on Thursday – Brookhaven RB/DB Xavier Gayten; season stats: 160 carries for 1,477 yards and 17 touchdowns, six catches for 40 yards and 1 of 1 passing for 27 yards and one touchdown. Also six kickoff returns for 308 yards and two touchdowns.

Holmes County Central High School (9-0) at Canton High School – Holmes County Central DL Terrance Hibbler; season stats: 68 tackles (43 solos), 24 tackles for loss, 19 sacks, two forced fumbles and nine quarterback hurries.

Baker (Ala.) High School (7-2) open date – Baker QB Josh Flowers; season stats: 111 of 163 passing for 1,765 yards with 17 touchdowns and six interceptions, 125 rushes for 1,072 yards and 12 touchdowns.

McAdory (Ala.) High School (5-4) at Calera (Ala.) High School on Thursday – McAdory tight end JaCorey Whitted; season stats: 30 catches for 577 yards and eight touchdowns.

Mississippi State 2025 Commitments

South Pike High School at Noxubee County High School (6-4) in first round of the Class 3A playoffs – Noxubee County quarterback Kamario Taylor; season stats: 137 of 227 passing for 2,411 yards with 32 touchdowns and five interceptions, 56 carries for 518 yards and seven touchdowns.

Madison (Ala.) Academy (9-0) at Westminster (Ala.) Christian – Madison Academy linebacker AJ Rice; season stats: 58 tackles (30 solos), 12 tackles for loss, one sack, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries returned for touchdowns.
