Why Asaad Brown II picked NC State
“NC State has been consistent,” Brown said. “They never wavered. I’ve had programs be in the picture, then they go ghost, then they come back in the picture. [NC State] never wavered.”
Coach’s scouting report
“A lot of kids going into college, they don’t understand that you’ve got to fall in love with the process it takes to become great, not just being great,” Mt. Zion Prep head coach Tyree Spinner said. “He’s in love with the process. He’s in love with hard work, he’s in love with busting his butt, he’s in love with learning the game and that part is a reason why he’s going to go play a long time…
“When he’s at the point of attack, he’s not afraid to be the hammer, not the nail, so that alone will allow him to be able to play and contribute early.”
