NC State has been recruiting Homewood-Flossmoor (Ill.) 4-star small forward Bryce Heard for nearly the past two years, and as he has grown into a higher-ranked prospect, the Wolfpack’s standing has shot up too.  Heard, a Chicago native, watched as the Pack made its run to the Final Four this past season, which turned his head. Now, NC State is an attractive option for Illinois’ No. 2 player, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
