Emptying the Notebook: NC State RB Kendrick Raphael looks to build off ‘23, mother nature’s impact and more
Last fall, sophomore running back Kendrick Rapahel received key snaps in NC State’s offense as a freshman. He vaulted to the top of the Pack’s depth chart after Jordan Houston elected to redshirt the rest of the season, and that proved to be beneficial. “A year under my belt has helped me a lot,” Raphael said this week. “Just adapting to the offense. It’s helped a lot, especially with gaining the right weight and speed.” Raphael was the Wolfpack’s third-leading rusher a year ago with 309 yards and a touchdown on 67 carries. He trailed quarterback Brennan Armstrong (665) and wideout Kevin “KC” Concepcion (320) in NC State’s rushing department.
