The annual All-ACC teams dropped Tuesday evening, recognizing the accomplishments of four NC State football players. A few days ago, TheWolfpacker.com assembled its own all-conference ballot.

Graduate linebacker Payton Wilson made the official first team, freshman wide receiver Kevin Concepcion checked in on the second team and both junior cornerback Aydan White and redshirt junior offensive tackle Anthony Belton received third team recognition.

A total of seven members of the team also picked up honorable mention accolades, including a few who made our All-ACC ballot. Here’s TheWolfpacker.com’s full ballot.

Offensive player of the year

Jordan Travis, Florida State

Travis tossed 20 touchdowns and only threw 2 interceptions while leading his team to an 11-0 start. He consistently showed up in big games and, while he wasn’t asked to do too much since the Seminoles blew out most of their opponents, he still racked up 2,755 yards while completing 63.9 percent of his passes.

Defensive player of the year

Payton Wilson, NC State

Wilson led the conference in tackles and tackles for loss, recorded 3 interception and forced 2 fumbles. He was a critical member of a defense that improved throughout the season.

Player of the year

Payton Wilson, NC State

Here’s TheWolfpacker.com’s full explanation for its ACC Player of the Year vote.

Offensive rookie of the year

Kevin Concepcion, NC State

Concepcion broke NC State’s freshman touchdown receptions and yards records this season, making an instant impact in the slot and in the backfield this fall. He finished second in the ACC with 10 touchdown receptions.

Defensive rookie of the year

Rueben Bain Jr., Miami

Bain finished No. 6 in the ACC with 7.5 sacks in his first year with the Hurricanes. He provided a consistently imposing presence on the edge and forced 2 fumble as well, finishing the year with 9.5 tackles for loss.

Rookie of the year

Kevin Concepcion, NC State

The freshman phenom racked up 1,064 total offensive yards this year to go along with his 10 scores. He was the best offensive player on a team that finished 9-3 and scored multiple touchdowns in 5 games.

Coach of the year

Mike Norvell, Florida State

TheWolfpacker.com is not allowed to select NC State head coach Dave Doeren for this award, but Norvell is certainly deserving of this honor. He helped maximize the potential of a team that had sky-high expectations, putting together a talented group of returning players and some of the top transfers in the country. You can’t do better than 12-0!
