NC State went back to the transfer portal for a starting quarterback for the second straight year, and it emerged with Coastal Carolina’s Grayson McCall on Wednesday morning. McCall, the only three-time Player of the Year in the history of the Sun Belt Conference, picked the Wolfpack over significant interest from UCF, and will likely be the expected starter for the Pack in 2024. The Indian Trail, N.C., native dealt with an injury this season and he played in just seven games under former NC State offensive coordinator Tim Beck. But before that, he was an electric player for the Chanticleers and has more than 10,000 passing yards in his collegiate career. Here’s a look at the quarterback the Pack landed from the transfer portal.
