Freshman G Matt Able headlines early buzz from NC State’s summer workouts

After nearly two months of building a roster through an analytical process, NC State is starting to see the fruits of its painstaking efforts on a basketball court.  It’s no longer the spreadsheets and data models that helped predict how each piece of the puzzle would fit into the Wolfpack’s scheme under coach Will Wade. Now, how each of the additions play with one another is a reality inside the Dail Basketball Center.  Most of the Pack’s roster has arrived in Raleigh, while the remaining pieces, including highly-touted freshman forward Mikey Wilkins, are expected to be on campus in the coming weeks. So far, however, NC State has been happy with what it has seen in its early-summer workouts.
