How NC State’s latest transfer portal additions will help in 2025

After returning a considerable amount of talent with an elite freshman class going into the 2024 season, NC State baseball did not need to utilize the transfer portal that much. It added just four Division I transfers with two junior college recruits to supplement what it already had.  That recipe helped the Wolfpack reach its second College World Series in four years. But as the college athletics landscape evolves, so has NC State coach Elliott Avent and his staff.
