NC State senior center Brandon Huntley-Hatfield didn’t lack confidence. He caught the ball at the top of the key midway through the first half and uncorked his first three-point attempt of the season.  The Pack had struggled from distance through the first four games — and it did again with William & Mary in town — but the 6-foot-10 former Louisville standout drained the triple to bring life to Lenovo Center.  NC State used that momentum to race past William & Mary 84-61 on Friday night in Raleigh behind senior guard Marcus Hill's team-best 19 points. Here are TheWolfpacker.com’s instant observations from NC State’s fifth straight win to open the 2024-25 campaign.
