If one drive could sum things up for NC State, it was the Wolfpack’s opening possession of the fourth quarter. Freshman quarterback CJ Bailey made three throws that were near pass catchers, but sophomore wideout Kevin Concepcion and junior tight end Justin Joly had catchable balls go off their hands.  Joly’s drop ended up as a Terry Moore interception for Duke, which led to a Blue Devils touchdown three plays later. That, in a way, was the story of the night as Duke knocked off NC State 29-19 on Saturday afternoon at Carter-Finley Stadium.  NC State’s two-game winning streak was snapped as Duke scored 14 points off Wolfpack turnovers, forcing the home team to wait at least two more weeks to play for bowl eligibility.  Bailey finished the afternoon 16-of-39 passing for 184 yards with a touchdown and an interception, while Joly led the team with four receptions for 52 yards. The Pack’s rushing attack, meanwhile, needed 29 carries to log 79 total yards on the ground in the loss. Here are TheWolfpacker.com’s instant observations from the Pack’s fifth loss of the season.
