Live pregame updates from NC State vs. Tennessee

No. 24 NC State football kicks off against No. 14 Tennessee at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium Saturday night. The Wolfpack comes into this matchup 1-0 after a 17-point win over Western Carolina, while the Volunteers won their first game against Chattanooga by 66.

This game serves as a national platform for both teams to leap into the spotlight as a potential conference contender, entering the College Football Playoff race. NC State vs. Tennessee kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET. ABC has the broadcast.

Pregame warmups just wrapped up! NC State exited the field to plenty of boo’s from the Tennessee fans.

A couple of injury updates for Tennessee. Cam Seldon, the team’s second-string running back, and Kalib Perry, a primary reserve linebacker, will not play tonight.

NC State senior nickel Ja’Had Carter is going through initial pregame warmups after not playing last week. It’s worth noting that he also participated in drills that day as well. Carter is expected to play against Tennessee.
