Live update blog: NC State football's Early National Signing Day
NC State football signed most of its 2025 recruiting class Wednesday on Early National Signing Day. Every recruit who hopes to enroll early in January must make their pledge official this week as they wrap up and shut down their respective recruitments.
For some, there will be no mystery. Quarterback Will Wilson has been locked in with the program for more than a year at this point. Three-star defensive back Serious Stinyard appeared genuinely torn between NC State and Kansas State but picked Wildcats.

Preston Douglas has signed with the Pack
12/04/2024 02:54:16 PMPreston Douglas told TheWolfpacker.com that he is waiting until Friday to sign, but his paperwork has already been processed by NC State. He’s a part of the official class.
A few commits will not sign Wednesday
12/04/2024 01:16:08 PMRunning backs Grayson Rigdon and Kentrell Rinehart will not sign today. There’s no timeline for their final decision. Tight end Preston Douglas will sign Friday. He remains “100 percent” locked in with NC State.
NC State signs its first linebacker commit
12/04/2024 12:55:20 PMTerris Dudley picked up an offer from the Wolfpack late in the cycle and visited soon after. He committed during that visit and, less than a month after picking up a scholarship from NC State, the linebacker signed with the program. The 6-3 high school safety projects as an outside linebacker at the next level.
The Wolfpack adds another four-star lineman to the class
12/04/2024 12:17:56 PMTakhyian Whitset committed to the Wolfpack earlier this fall and made that pledge official. He will not enroll until the summer but went ahead and shut down his recruitment. NC State flipped the tackle prospect from Purdue after an official visit.
NC State’s quarterback is locked in
12/04/2024 12:05:07 PMWill Wilson signed with the Wolfpack this afternoon. He was the first commit of the 2025 class and was instrumental in recruiting his future teammates to Raleigh. The three-star prospect is a true dual-thread quarterback, and he will arrive on campus in less than a month.
Cam Strong locks in his final decision
12/04/2024 10:49:41 AMTeams tried to flip three-star cornerback Cam Strong, but he remained solid with NC State and signed Wednesday morning after committing in June. He has been a top priority cornerback target for more than a year at this point.
Tristan Teasdell puts pen to paper
12/04/2024 09:52:47 AMTristan Teasdell has been pledged to the Pack since May and signed with NC State Wednesday. He flies to the ball and uses his 6-1 frame to hit like a truck.
3-star S Gerritt Kemp signs with NC State
12/04/2024 09:18:14 AMNC State prioritized Kemp from the early months of this year and flipped the defensive back from Duke in August. He was a top priority for this coaching staff and projects as an early contributor.
The Wolfpack signs its first defensive back
12/04/2024 09:04:21 AMCaden Gordon is the first member of this secondary class to to put pen to paper. He signed this morning. USF pushed for a slip this fall, and the Pack held onto the tall, speedy corner from Florida.
Another defensive lineman pledges to the Pack
12/04/2024 08:30:25 AMJunior college defensive end AJ Prim signed with NC State. He committed to the Pack shortly after a fall official visit, and the staff held off a late push from Houston.
Josiah Victor makes his recent commitment official
12/04/2024 07:53:52 AMJosiah Victor, a three-star nose tackle recruit from Georgia, joined the class. He picked NC State over Georgia Tech Sunday and will enroll in January.
NC State lands its center of the future
12/04/2024 07:08:46 AMIsaac Sowells Jr. signed with the Pack! Some consider him the top center prospect in the country. He also held offers from Miami, South Carolina and Kentucky.
Omarian Abraham’s commitment is official!
12/04/2024 07:01:37 AMOmarian Abraham committed to the Wolfpack during his official visit over the summer, and that pledge is now official. He’s in the middle of a playoff run with American Heritage High in Florida right now.
A major boost to the defensive line
12/04/2024 06:49:10 AMThree-stare edge rusher Colby Cronk officially signed with NC State. He recorded more than 20 sacks during his senior year and was a game-wrecker for his high school squad.
Jerel Bolder is the Pack’s first wide receiver signee
12/04/2024 06:43:12 AMJerel Bolder, NC State’s highest-ranked commit, signed with the Pack. He is the No. 217 recruit in the 2025 class. The Wolfpack beat out Georgia for his commitment
Michael Gibbs is running with the Wolfpack
12/04/2024 06:33:01 AMIn-state offensive lineman Michael Gibbs made his commitment official. The athletic tackle prospect could play pretty much anywhere on the offensive line at the next level. He picked NC State over Virginia Tech, Penn State and others.
Kage Payne joins the Pack

Gus Ritchey is the first member of the Pack to make it official
