NC State defeats Florida State in thrilling ACC showdown

NC State has the perfect opportunity to bounce back Saturday night. The Wolfpack welcomes Florida State, a fellow one-loss team in the Atlantic Division, for yet another primetime matchup for the the program.

Both teams come into the matchup 4-1 and are looking to respond after losses to division rivals. The game is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. and will be broadcast on the ACC Network.

FINAL: NC State defeats Florida State 19-17

NC State is 5-1 overall and 1-1 in the ACC after a 19-17 win over Florida State. Back in action next Saturday at Syracuse for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff. Stay tuned as we await word from Dave Doeren on status of Devin Leary.

Lawrance Toafili ran through a wide open hole and reaches the end zone on a 12-yard touchdown. FSU leads 14-3 with 48 seconds left in the half.

The NC State-Florida State game will be delayed “due to an issue with the stadium lighting system.” As of 7:14, Carter-Finley was dark, and the contest will not start until 47 minutes after they work. There is currently no estimate for when the lights will turn back on.
