Turnovers, timely score leads NC State past Miami

NC State football kicked off against Miami shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday night and, after an intense defensive battle, the Wolfpack won 20-6 and achieved bowl eligibility.

During Saturday’s pregame, graduate linebacker Payton Wilson and graduate tight end Trent Pennix both went through full warmups. Wilson has a small brace on his right knee.
