NC State at Clemson game notes

– This weekend’s contest marks the 92nd all-time meeting between the Tigers and Wolfpack — the 39th at Clemson. NC State has won two of the last three meetings, both at Carter-Finley Stadium. Its most recent win at Clemson’s Memorial Stadium came in 2002 with Philip Rivers at the helm of the Wolfpack.

– NC State is one of just two ACC programs to beat Clemson twice since 2015. The Pack did both at home, but are a part of a pair of the nine league losses the Tigers have in that time span. Pitt is the other program that can claim that title, while no team has beaten Clemson three times in the last nine seasons.

– This will be redshirt junior wide receiver Dacari Collins’ first time back at Clemson since he transferred to NC State prior to last season. He played his first two seasons of college football with the Tigers, accumulating 17 receptions for 229 yards. Collins had one catch for six yards against Clemson last season in a rotational wide receiver role. Now, he will start for the Pack in Death Valley.
