NC State baseball preview: Pitchers

In what might be the deepest part of NC State’s roster, the Wolfpack pitching staff will play an integral role in how far the red and white can go this postseason. NC State believes it has what it takes to win a regional and go deep into the summer with the number of quality arms it has this spring.  That depth took a hit with senior right-handed pitcher Matt Willadsen, an expected weekend starter this season, out indefinitely with an arm injury that he suffered on the first day of practice.  But even though the Wolfpack will be without one of its top arms, NC State still has a group of pitchers to complement its dangerous hitting lineup.  Here’s a look at the Wolfpack’s pitching staff ahead of the 2024 campaign:
