NC State basketball transfer portal targets: Who the Pack could add to begin the Will Wade era

The transfer portal is in full swing, and NC State might be one of the most-frequent visitors of the NCAA’s free agent database this offseason. The Pack currently has nine available scholarships to use going into Will Wade’s first season.  NC State has three returning scholarship players on its roster for the 2025-26 campaign as rising sophomores Trey Parker and Paul McNeil, and incoming freshman Mikey Wilkins round out who Wade and his staff have to build around. The Pack earned its first transfer portal addition via McNeese guard Alyn Breed, who was originally on this list, on Wednesday. With that in mind, here’s a look at possible transfer portal targets that the Wolfpack could turn to to bolster its roster going into the summer. NC State has four scholarship players on its roster for the 2025-26 campaign as rising senior forward Ismael Diouf, rising sophomores Trey Parker and Paul McNeil, and incoming freshman Mikey Wilkins round out who Wade and his staff have to build around.  With that in mind, here’s a look at possible transfer portal targets that the Wolfpack could turn to to bolster its roster going into the summer.
