NC State is one win away from bowl eligibility with four games left in the regular season. Entering week 10, NC State’s postseason projections include the Duke’s Mayo Bowl, Gator Bowl, Holiday Bowl, Pinstripe Bowl, Pop-Tarts Bowl and the Sun Bowl.

The Wolfpack (5-3, 2-2 ACC) beat Clemson 24-17 this past weekend at Carter-Finley Stadium, and will host Miami on Saturday night in Raleigh.

Here’s an updated look at the Wolfpack’s postseason projections entering Week 10:

The most commonly projected game continues to be the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium. Athlon Sports and CBS Sports have the Pack playing Rutgers in New York City, while ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura has NC State playing Minnesota in the contest.

NC State also has multiple projections to the Gator Bowl. College Football Network has the Wolfpack playing LSU in the game, while The Athletic thinks NC State will play Florida in the Jacksonville-based contest.

Other projections include the Duke’s Mayo Bowl against Auburn, as projected by USA Today, while the Action Network has the Pack headed to the Pop-Tarts Bowl against Kansas State. ESPN’s Mark Schlabach thinks NC State will play in the Sun Bowl against Arizona, and Fox Sports has the Wolfpack headed to the Holiday Bowl against Oregon State in San Diego.

NC State quote of the day

NC State men’s basketball had five players score in double figures in its 89-79 exhibition win over Mount Olive. The balanced scoring is what coach Kevin Keatts expected to see from his team:

“This is exactly who this team is,” Keatts said. “It’s going to be balanced. We don’t necessarily have those two guards that are going to average 17 points a game, but on a given night we can get somebody hot.”
