After NC State sophomore cornerback Brandon Cisse missed three straight games with a hand injury, he was eager to make an impact in his return to the field this past weekend against Stanford. His first challenge? Cardinal wideout Elic Ayomanor, a preseason All-ACC selection and one of the top route runners in the country.  And it didn’t take long for Cisse to make his presence felt.  Stanford quarterback Ashton Daniels looked towards Ayomanor for a deep shot in the second quarter, which if completed, would have been a 52-yard gain into NC State territory. But Cisse was there to make a play, knocking the ball away from Ayomanor as the drive ended in a three-and-out for the Cardinal.  It's safe to say Cisse was not only back to his form before he was sidelined with an injury, but he showed up against one of the top receivers that he has lined up against in his brief time at the collegiate level.
