NC State DC D.J. Eliot’s in-home visit was key in flipping Texas State LB commit Ke’Von Carter
When NC State hired defensive coordinator D.J. Eliot earlier this month, his recruiting prowess jumped off the page. And it didn’t take long for him to utilize that during his first road trip for the Wolfpack. Eliot, who boasts a deep background in recruiting Texas high school football, made three-star Texas State linebacker commit Ke’Von Carter a priority in his first week on the job. The Pack’s new play-caller took a trip to Carter’s house in central Texas, which ended up leading to the San Antonio (TX) Karen Wagner High standout flipping his commitment on Friday night.
